Tatler

copywriting/Tatler Magazine

Copywriting: Neil French for Hong Kong Tatler

This exercise is similar to the High Society re-imagination of Abbott’s style. This was to take the contrast style of Neil French and incorporate it to the Tatler magazine.

The Tatler magazine is the chosen platform to showcase French’s copywriting as it suits the condescending tone he prefers to write in. The tone that he usually opts to write in is very exclusive to those who shares similar taste in the finer things. It can be very elitist, however, it also makes the reader feels that they should live up to his expectations.

The Tatler magazine alines very with French’s elitist style as it is caters to a very exclusive target audience.

The format chosen to showcase his style would be a series of right side ads in the magazine. Additionally, the poster will highlight brands such as Christian Louboutin, Chanel and Tiffany & Co.
