commercial photography/ Puma: Make It Two
“Make It Two" is a photography exercise to photograph a sports brand and create a new concept for them. We have chosen to use Puma as a brand as it does not have a great presence in Hong Kong and felt that we explore creative options to create greater awareness to the mass public.
Compared to other brands, we felt that Puma is too relaxed and has a prominent slogan from the brand. Additionally, we find that the brand is difficult to recall in term of uniqueness in the memories of young Hong Kongers.
We developed a concept that with Puma, you are able to have two sides. This is derived from the products of the brand being both a street/ lifestyle friendly and also athletic. The concept shows that the wearer of Puma products is able to combine two sides of their lifestyle into one making Puma both street and workout friendly.
By having double, we proposed to shoot the looks in double exposure cause of its double meaning and making it a two-way thing that ties in directly with the concept.
